Diagnosing and Managing ARFID - A Comprehensive Course
This online, introductory short course on Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) provides practical information on nutrition and ARFID-related healthcare, incorporating up-to-date research.
ARFID is characterised by a pattern of feeding or eating that avoids certain foods or food groups and/or restricting quantity. As a relatively new eating disorder, the course recognises the need to educate healthcare professionals.
The course has been created in partnership with ARFID Awareness UK, by a team with experience in practice and higher education and who are active in research.
Designed specifically for healthcare professionals, you’ll explore the challenges in diagnosis of ARFID; nutritional, psychological, sensory-motor and medical assessment, as well as management of ARFID from a multidisciplinary team’s perspective:
